4) Fry to perfection: Heat ghee or oil in a pan and deep-fry the Karanjis on medium flame until golden brown. Drain on a tissue and let them cool.

2 tbsp ghee

½ cup grated coconut (fresh or dry)
2 tbsp roasted semolina
2 tbsp chopped dry fruits (cashews, almonds, raisins)
½ tsp cardamom powder
1 tsp poppy seeds (optional)
For frying:
Ghee or oil
